PSWC Student Career Symposium

Please note that you will take part in PSWC Education Day/Student Symposium on Saturday 12 April, 12:00 – 17:00 hours.

This day will take place at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Monash University (Parkville Campus), 381 Royal Parade, Parkville.

(Public transport: Please take the number 19 tram in Elizabeth Street in CBD, and get off at the stop for the Zoo (i.e. Walker Street); you will see Monash University and a billboard welcoming guests).

The PSWC 2014 meeting aims to foster professional development of young pharmaceutical scientists. In keeping with this ethos, the a student focussed symposium will be held which will provide an opportunity for direct engagement with key pharmaceutical science leaders. Held at the Monash University Parkville Campus (a short tram ride from the city), this free symposium is centred around the theme "a vision for young pharmaceutical scientists". Topics have been chosen to provide future perspectives on wide ranging areas from when to publish or patent to how to use global networks effectively. Speakers will include leading pharmaceutical scientists as well as leaders of professional bodies such as FIP, AAPS and EUFEPS.

This symposium also provides a fantastic opportunity for students to meet these eminent pharmaceutical scientists and educators at complimentary networking functions.

Registration for the Symposium is free of charge for all students registered to the PSWC Congress. Students not attending the PSWC Congress can register for the Symposium for an administrative fee of 40 AUD.
